Beau Beery
|
Our Commerical Property Manager. Beau Beery moved to Gainesville, FL in 1996 to attain a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Florida. After UF, Mr. Beery worked for Trammell Crow Residential from 1998 to 2001 at a 440 unit apartment development in Gainesville. In 2002 Mr. Beery earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate from UF. Upon completion of his Masters Degree Mr. Beery was hired as the Director of Commercial Brokerage & Property Management at AMJ, Inc. of Gainesville, a leading regional developer of office, retail, and multifamily projects. Since his start at AMJ Mr. Beery increased the overall occupancy of its commercial portfolio from 59% to over 90%. In December 2005 Mr. Beery earned his Florida Real Estate Brokers license. Beginning in September 2006 Mr. Beery was appointed Regional Leader of the University of Florida Friends & Alumni of Real Estate (UF FARE), a group of over 1,000 real estate professionals that provides its members strong networking capacity, offers a liaison to the UF Center for Real Estate Studies and its Advisory Board, and works with existing Masters in Real Estate students to mentor and create scholarships for them. In October 2006, Mr. Beery attained the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, awarded to less than one percent of all real estate practitioners. |

Amy Cummings-Aponte

Amy Aponte, our newest addition to the property management department, has been a licensed Realtor since 2003 with experience in a variety of markets throughout Florida. Residential property is her specialty, with experience in both an urban and rural areas. Beginning in 2006 and prior to coming to AMJ, Inc., Amy successfully managed a residential real estate company here in Gainesville. Prior to working in real estate, Amy spent eight years as a successful business owner in sunny South Florida. She possesses an Associates Degree from Santa Fe Community College, and is currently working toward her Bachelors at Saint Leo University.
Amy is a second generation native of Florida, which gives her the unique perspective of having watched our beautiful state grow and change over the years. She has made many contributions to our community through volunteer service and her organizational abilities. Amy’s passion for a better tomorrow is what drives her to provide excellent service.

Shantavia Edwards
|
Shantavia Edwards, our Assistant Manager, is a native Floridian. A graduate of Williston High School. Shantavia relocated to the Orlando area for awhile, were she worked in Telecommuications for 10 plus years, but missed the area and moved back to be near her family and friends. Shantavia was also employeed by one of the largest cellular providers in the nation.
Shantavia decided to broaden her horizons into the field of Property Management after getting her start in the Real Estate field by working at a local mortgage company, where she got experience in loss mitigation and collections. Shantavia decided that she needed a more challenging position where she could learn the ins and outs of the Real Estate field. Ms. Edwards also is a licensed Cosmetologist.

Billy Higgins
|
Billy Higgins, our Customer Service Manager, has been a invaluable asset since his arrival at AMJ in 2000.
Billy heads up our Maintenance Staff of six highly trained and professional Technicians, who excel in bringing our Customers the best service possible for both the Commerical Properties and Residential Properties alike.
Billy has added a professionalism to AMJ, that has been beyond measure, when it comes to the care and attention that he has provided throughout the years.
Billy lives with his wife and sons in Palatka. Billy also has three children in North Carolina.

Natram Meetoo
|
Natram Meetoo, Our Chief Financial Officer, has been providing AMJ with his expert Financial experience since 2003.
Natram grew up in Trinadad, but relocated to the United States, where he lived for a time in Sunrise Florida.
Natram worked diligently to achieve his college degree in Accounting, while earning an Honorary Mention on the Dean's List.
He also obatined his General Banking, Consumer Credit, Commercial Lending and Mortgage Lending Diploma from The American Institute of Banking.
Natram once worked for the largest bank in Florida, Barnett Bank, and earned their highest honor "Employee of the Year" award.
During his tenure at Barnett Bank, he held positions as Accountant, Office Manager, and Comptroller for Dealerships and Corporations. He also holds a Florida Real Estate License.

Sue Runyon
|
Our Receptionist, Sue Runyon, has provided a smile for all who walk through our doors since February of 2003.
She and her husband, Lou, live on 5 ½ acres in the country, near Archer. They have been married for 32 years, and have 2 grown sons, Eric and Shaun, and a grand-daughter, Breanna, who is their joy.
Sue says ?AMJ is a great company to work for, and my co-workers are my friends?.

Leah Spezialetti

Our Accounts Payable Clerk and Office Manager. Miss Spezialetti is a native of New York State, where she worked in Customer Service for Federated Department Stores.
She holds a Bachelors of Science from Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Public Communications.
In the fall of 2005 Miss Spezialetti relocated to Gainesville and began working at AMJ, Inc. as Office Manager, Human Resources Manager, and Executive Assistant to Mr. Warren.
In 2006 Miss Spezialetti also accepted the position of Assistant Bookkeeper at AMJ. She lives in Gainesville with her fiancé. |
