Born in Woodstock, New York, Russell Hirshik joined AMJ in March 2012 as Director of Commercial Real Estate. Oddly, it was a game of racket ball with a realtor whom he’d never met before that introduced Russ to the real estate world. Formerly of Prudential/Trend Realty, his extensive social networking skills help keep him ahead of what’s going on in the local market. His primary function at AMJ will be to help identify and analyze properties for potential acquisition, as well as help manage tenant relations and leasing of AMJ’s commercial portfolio. In his spare time, you’ll find Russ at the gym, walking Paynes Prairie, reading, listening to music or cooking. He lives in NW Gainesville with his girlfriend and considers himself a music & movie buff.

The position of Chief Bookkeeper was filled in August of 2011 by LisaMarie Jenssen, who brings more than 30 years of accounting experience to AMJ. Born and raised in California, most people are surprised to learn that she’s actually half Norwegian! Her childhood dream was to be the female version of Jacques Cousteau, but instead found herself studying Drama at Solano Community College. Her son, Duncan, lives with his wife Jenn and their three kids, Gavin, Ethan & Mason, in Pasco, WA.

Under his leadership, AMJ has grown into one of the premier commercial developers in the Gainesville area.
