MetLife Home Loans Makes a Move to 2610 Executive Centre
MetLife, a leading global provider of insurance, annuities and employee benefit programs, serving 90 million customers in over 60 countries, has secured office space in the 2610 Executive Centre office building located at 2610 NW 43rd Street in Gainesville, Florida, just south of the Madison Park Office Condominium building and just north of the Le Pavillon shopping center.
Beau Beery’s Comments: MetLife was formerly leasing space in our popular retail lifestyle center, Plaza Royale, in Gainesville. They downsized their operations and moved into Suite 1B of our 2610 Executive Centre on NW 43rd Street. The space is 1,247 square feet and is the former home of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. This particular MetLife office focuses on home loans and is locally managed by Kristin Hawkins. Kristin and the local staff are very easy to work with and have been a pleasure to have as a tenant the last 6 years in our commercial real estate portfolio. Working with large national corporations can sometimes be tricky with their legal guidelines and slow time frames in decision making but ultimately are the preferred occupant of a landlord because it reduces rent collection uncertainty among other things. MetLife combines the strength of a solid financial firm with an easy to work with local staff…my kind of tenant!
